Isaiah 62
6I
have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which
shall never hold their peace day nor night:
ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make
Jerusalem a praise in the earth. |
|
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you. |

Love For His People Ministries |
|
Our good friend Steve Martin announced in
December 2009 that he would be leaving Vision For Israel on July
1, 2010 - completing 5 years with the Israeli Based humanitarian
aid organization founded by Barry & Batya Segal, to lead "Love For His People Ministries, a new
ministry based in Charlotte. Beit Yeshua is excited to be
working with this wonderful new ministry. |

"Love For His People Ministries" (in Hebrew "Ahava
le Amo") was established on November 23, 2009 to connect people
who love Israel - so that together they can more effectively
bless the people of Israel. A primary focus of this "arm
in arm" ministry will be to encourage, support and edify
Messianic Believers in the Promised Land of Eretz Israel. Seminars and Conferences will be conducted to
teach about our spiritual and historic debt to Israel and the
Jewish people. The ministry will seek to teach youth to
share the true perspective of Israel, in opposition to the
current typical worldview, and to implant a love for Israel and
His people in their hearts.
There will be trips to the land for youth, parents and seniors.
These short-term ministry trips, to be known as "Ahava
Adventures", will be to give Americans and others "hands on"
opportunities and experiences; walk the land of Abraham, David
and Yeshua (Jesus); to meet and encourage sabras (those born in
Israel) and those who have made aliyah (immigrated to Israel). |

Isaiah 40:1-5
“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God. “Speak
kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has
ended, that her iniquity has been removed, that she has received
of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.” A voice is
calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make
smooth in the desert a highway for our God. “Let every
valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low;
and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain
a broad valley; Then the glory of the LORD will be
revealed, and all flesh will see it together; for the mouth of
the LORD has spoken.” |

Beit Yeshua
Erev Shabbat & Midrash |
|
On Friday, July 23, 2010, Beit Yeshua met at Chuck & Janice's
home for Erev Shabbat, Praise & Worship, Prayer, a
Midrashic-style Bible study, and Oneg. Doug leads our Midrash, serving as fascinator of the group
discussion for the weekly portions. It's definitely one of
our favorite parts of our Erev Shabbat meetings. There
were 37 in attendance at this particular home meeting - a large
crowd for a home group meeting. |

The group listens intently and actively participates in the
discussion on the Torah portion
"Va'etchanan" from Deuteronomy 3:23 - 7:11, Isaiah 40:1-26, Acts
3 - 5 |
 |
|
Vat'etchanan ("And he pleaded") includes:
* the described failed effort of Moses to God to let him enter
the land
*the Ten Mitzvot/Commandments as stated by Moses
*the Sh'ma which proclaims the oneness of God
*the duty to love God, study His torah and teach it to the
children
*The mitzvot of the tefillin and mezuzah
*Moses' prophetic warning of the exile and the eventual
redemption of Israel |
|
Acts 3:19-21
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped
away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the
presence of the Lord; and that He may send Yeshua the Messiah
appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of
restoration of all things about which GOd spoke by the mouth of
His holy prophets from ancient time. |

Bill Cloud is recognized as one of the leading authorities on
end-time events and the Hebraic study of Scripture and its
relevance to the Believer. |
|
Under the tutelage of a local rabbi, Bill began studying Hebrew
and became prolific at reading and writing the Holy Tongue.
He has spent many hours studying, not only the Hebrew text, but
the Hebraic roots of Christianity as well. This research
has been rewarded with a keen insight into Biblical Judaism and
its relationship to Christianity. |
|
Through Shoreshim Ministries, Bill and his family have launched
an effort to reintroduce Christians to the Jewish Yeshua and to
educate Believers in the roots of their faith. |
|
Bill has appeared frequently on TV with Perry Stone and Zola Levitt. |
|
Bill does a wonderful teaching that talked about Satan's attacks
on people and groups from within |
 |
|
Adam failed to "shamar" (guard) the Garden of Eden - allowing
Satan to enter and temp Eve |
