Isaiah 62
6
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night:
ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Psalm 122:6  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you.

The Lord opened so many new and exiting doors for us in 2010.  So often, we actually forget all that He's done for us.
This page will help you remember.

Proclomation Over a City

On January 1, 2010, nine men and women associated with Beit Yeshua gathered for the 2nd annual shofar sounding and proclamation over the city of Lincolnton.  Shofarot were sounded at the Lincolnton Courthouse, the local high school, as well as at several area churches represented by the group, including Covenant Bible Church and Freedom Church.  The morning also consisted of prayer requesting Yahweh to more freely and fully move during 2010 and pour our more of His Ruach Ha'Kodesh (Holy Spirit).

Steele Creek Church

Because of our connection with Cathy Hargett of Highway to Zion, and through her invitation, we've connected with Steele Creek Church's Messianic Pastor, Warren Marcus, and their monthly One-New-Man meetings.  Warmly received, we had no trouble jumping in during their praise and worship to share our love for Israeli Folk Dance with those in attendance.  Warren also invited the Beit Yeshua's "shofar blowers" to open the Steel Creek Church service when he ministered there on a Saturday evening in January.  The evening concluded with some wonderful fellowship.

Israeli Folk Dance

Our 2010 Israeli Folk Dance classes started on Tuesday, January 5th.  There was a good mixture of men and women from a variety of ages.  We had several beginner dancers, so we started easy and increased the difficulty as the evening progressed.

Coats to Vision For Israel

Beit Yeshua co-leader Doug Williams was approached by a member of our church family, saying that he had 600 coats that he'd be willing to donate to the needy in Israel.  The coats were adult-sized and were manufactured in the USA by a textile company that had gone out of business.  When Vision For Israel founders Barry & Batya Segal were in Charlotte in December 2009 for the VFI Hanukkah Celebration, Doug talked with Batya and confirmed their desire for the coats.

Steve Martin & Timmy Bryant brought the VFI truck from Charlotte to Lincolnton, NC, where Paul and Chuck helped load the coats.  They were then taken to the Vision For Israel warehouse in Charlotte, where they'll be re-packaged and sent to Israel.

Zemer Levav

Zemer Levav (Song of the Heart) was in concert Saturday, January 23rd at Beit Shofarot in Salisbury, NC.  Mark, Shimnit & Kerah Hanes ministered in an Israeli-styled worship expericence with song and dance while playing harp, guitar, oud, dumbek, djembe and tubano.  We've loved their music for years - what a wonderful opportunity to worship with them in person.
