Isaiah 62
6I
have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which
shall never hold their peace day nor night:
ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make
Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you.
Carolyn & Curtis joined Beit Shofarot for Shabbat services on

Friends of Beit Yeshua and Highway to Zion met
on Friday, January 21, 2011, 7PM, at
Doug & Lynda's home as Cathy, of Highway to Zion, discussed the 2011 Israel Immersion & Sukkot Tour.
It's the understanding of everyone who attended the meeting that
the October 2011 trip to Israel is not a "vacation", but instead
is part of our prophetic destiny to go us to Jerusalem to bless
the Lord.
Cathy joyously shares about the opportunities we'll have while
in Israel
Beit Yeshua visited Beit Tikvah in Ft. Mill, SC, on Friday,
February 4, 2011. Beit Tikvah is a Jewish-Roots group led
by Peter Wyns and Steve & Laurie Martin.

Curtis taught a two-session Israeli Folk Dance class with
Highway to Zion on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, and Tuesday,
February 22, 2011, at the Cramer Mt. Country Club in Cramerton,
NC. The more we learn, the more opportunities we have for
offering up praise & worship to the Lord. We're excited about
the doors the Lord is opening between Highway to Zion and Beit
Yeshua.
Beit Shofarot in China Grove, NC, hosted the Messianic singing
group Zemer Levav for the second time on Saturday, February 12,
2011. It always a special blessing when we have an
opportunity to fellowship with our friends there.

Beit Yeshua will be celebrating our 10th
Anniversary in August of this year. We've grown
tremendously as the years have passed but we're still pleased to
have the monthly home group meetings. Beit Yeshua
meets for Erev Shabbat (Friday night) twice a month. Beit
Eder was formed to add an additional meeting during the coarse
of the month. The group meets at Wane & Carolee's home is
is similar to that of Beit Yeshua.

Beit Yeshua is a Charismatic Jewish-Roots group - believing in
all the Gifts of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).
Indira Persad was invited to minister at Beit Yeshua during Erev
Shabbat on Friday, February 25, 2011, at Chuck & Janice's home
in Lincolnton, NC. We've know Indira for years - meeting her
years ago when she worked with Vision For Israel in Charlotte. As the
years passed, a deep friendship was formed. Indira is
gifted and ministered in the areas of healing and the prophetic.
Indira gave her testimony about accepting Yeshua as her Messiah
then started ministering in the area of healing and the
prophetic.
Indira gave a prophetic word over
Beit Yeshua that went as follows:
"You guys teamed
up with Beit Shofarot and Highway to Zion and all these
things, but that's just one little egg in the whole
basket, so to speak. God is giving you guys a
garden to cultivate. He's given you jewels that
are still in the pit of your belly awaiting to come up.
People are crying out and praying and God has shown them
you guys in visions and dreams. They've seen your
faces - they jus don't know where you are. The day
will come when they will say 'I know you from somewhere.
I saw you somewhere' and they'll remember it was in a
dream. It's yours.
The Covenant-based Israeli Folk Dance class continued to grow in
2011. It's wonderful when people come together to learn
Israeli Folk Dance in order to increase the depth of their
worship before the Lord.

ASHREINU
As
The Machol Dancers prepare for the Israeli Folk Dance "Ashreinu",
Carolyn tells the story of the song
The Story Behind the Song "ASHREINU"
In the fall
of 1944, in the Auschwitz concentration camp, a group of 50
Hungarian Jewish boys under the age of 18 had been selected for
the gas chambers. They had been told they were to take showers,
but this was later in concentration camp history, and the boys
knew the truth.
Inside the
bathhouse, one boy shouted out, “Brothers! Today is the day of
Simchat Torah! Before we die, let us celebrate Simchat Torah one
last time! We don’t have a Torah Scroll to dance with, so let
us all dance with God Himself—Who is surely here among us—before
we return our souls to Him.”
50 young voices raised in song, and 50 pairs of feet stamped in
joy before the L-rd:
Ashreinu mah tov chelkeinu u’ma nayim goraleinu u’mah yafah
yerushateinu (How fortunate we are and how wonderful is our
portion and how beautiful is our heritage.)
The commandant came and was infuriated. One boy told him,
“leaving a world where Nazi beasts reign is a cause for
celebration.” To teach them a lesson, the commandant had
them all pulled out and put in a holding block overnight,
telling them he planned to torture them the next day.
The next morning a high-ranking Nazi officer arrived, needing to
conscript a large number of workers. He saw the group of boys
and ordered them along with several hundred other inmates, to be
transferred to his work camp. Survivors of Auschwitz report
that all 50 boys survived the war.

Beit Yeshua celebrated the Biblical Festival of Shavuot - also
called the Feast of Pentecost - on Friday, June 3, 2011, in the
Family Life Center of Covenant Bible Church in Lincolnton, NC.
Shavuot is a Hebrew word that means "weeks" and refers to the 7
weeks (50 days) between the Feast of Firstfruits (at
Pesach/Passover) and the Feast of Shavuot.
At Shavuot we remember the
giving of the Torah in the Tanach (Original Covenant)
and the giving of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) in the Brit
Hadasha (New Covenant)
Shavuot was celebrated

Even though Beit Yeshua enjoys the larger festival and assembly
meetings in the Family Life Center at Covenant Bible Church in
Lincolnton, we've always valued the fact that we still have the
smaller home-group meetings. During the summer of 2011, we
started a series where we looked closely at the

Beit Yeshua chose to celebrate the Biblical Feast of Trumpets
(Yom Teruah) as a home celebration meeting this year.
Everyone gathered in Doug & Lynda's home for the festive holiday
which began with the sounding of the shofarot (Ram's horns).
The sounding of the shofar reminds us of a time in the future
when a shofar will blow resurrecting the dead Believers in
Messiah Yeshua who are immediately followed by the living
RIghteous. They are "snatched" from the earth (or "caught
up") and assembled in heaven for the Messiah's coronation and
wedding.

evening. The shofarot were sounded, Hanukkah candles were
lit, blessings were said over Shabbat candles as well as the
bread and wine, and everyone sang the Sh'ma.
Gid led the group in
praise & worship, joined by Adam on bass and Tim on the drums

Thirteen people from
Beit Yeshua joined with Highway to Zion for the 2011 Sukkot Trip
to Israel.
The majority of the evening was used to share photos of the
October trip.
Curtis & Doug shared information about the various sites the
group visited
as photos were shared through the overhead projection system.
The following photos were from:
Mount Arbel, Capernaum, Caesarea Maritima
Jerusalem, The Eastern Gate, Masadda
In the winter of 2009 - 2010 Beit Yeshua was approached with a
gift of $15,000 worth of coats for the needy in Israel. It
didn't take long for us to realize that Vision For Israel would
the best distributor of these coats. In late 2009 the
coats were inventoried and by early 2010 Beit Yeshua had moved
the coats to the Vision For Israel warehouse in Charlotte, NC.
Once in Charlotte, Doug, Paul, Chuck and Barry helped Timmy
package the coats in boxes to be shipped to Israel.
Timmy Bryant models two of the coats
Paul packs some of the coats in boxes
Unfortunately it takes time and finances to move large crates of
merchandise into Israel. Israel has limitations and
restrictions on the type and amount of merchandise that can be
shipped into the country to humanitarian aide organizations like
Vision For Israel.
After almost two year, the coats have been are heading out to
Israel.
The large boxes are crated and wrapped in plastic for shipping
...
... then loaded on a truck to be sent to the airport and on to
Israel
Please consider giving financially to one of
the many humanitarian aide organizations in Israel

Todah Rabah (Thank you) to all of you who have worked so
tirelessly throughout 2011 to bless and support Beit Yeshua with
your prayers, attendance, financial giving for Israel,
setting-up before large events, cleaning-up afterwards , washing
1000's of dishes after Pesach, teaching, participating in the
Israeli Folk Dance class, helping with music, sound and every
other part that is required to provide the meetings we've done
during the year. We couldn't do it without you.
You're such a blessing to us.
As we quickly approach 2012, I pray that you'll join with us for
larger events as well as the smaller home-group meetings
throughout the year.
The Lord bless you and
keep you, the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to
you,
the Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you peace.
B'Shem Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (In the Name of Yeshua the Messiah).
