John 6:1
After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed himMatthew 15:29-31
Jesus left there and went along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountainside and sat down. Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of IsraelDay 2
We finally arrive in Israel - the day we'd been waiting for.
We arrived in Tel-Aviv at 2:00pm (8:00am NC Time).
A first look at Tel-Aviv from the airplane
When our plane landed, we had to wait as the large group left the airplane. We regrouped and everyone headed to the bathrooms. Now which way do we go?

We had to go through customs and have our passports stamped, collect our baggage
and meet up with those on the US Air flight.

After Jeff, Chris and Danny joined us, we left baggage claims and headed to the Sar El tour bus. There waiting to greet us was my 15-year email friend from Bat-Yam, Liran, his wife Shiri, and children Tomer and Aviv. We greeted each other with handshakes and hugs - Carolyn even cried as we met. They gave us a box of wonderful cookies and a large bottle of water to stay hydrated during our tour. Many of the Beit Yeshua group came and greeted them - including Janice, Lynda, Cathy and Gid. Unfortunately, the wonderful meeting was brief, but plans were made to spend time together on the last day of the trip. Curtis & Carolyn with Liran, Shiri, Tomer & Aviv
Jim & Linda from Christian Friends of Israel were also there at the airport to greet us with hugs and smile - as well as a Lulav and Etrog for Cathy. It was 5:20 pm when we arrived in Tiberias at the Caesar Premier Hotel
and 6:00 by the time we checked in and were in our rooms.Checking into our hotel in Tiberias
We were at the Caesar Premier from Thursday, October 13 to Sunday Morning, October 16th, 2011.

We only had time for a quick shower because the dinner meal at the hotel began at 6:30. The food for the entire trip to Israel was WONDERFUL with many fresh fruits and vegetables - olives on the table at every meal. We had breakfast and dinner daily at the hotel. An abundance of wonderful food at every meal

After dinner, Duke & Myrl, Chuck & Janice, Gloria & Brittany, Carolyn & I (Curtis) strolled the boardwalk till 9:00 or 9:30. The ladies were "itching" to do some shopping, but decided to wait until a later time. Shopping on the Tiberias Boardwalk

Bedtime for most of us was 10:00 pm.
