Psalm 122:6  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you.

Isaiah 40:1-5
“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.  “Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been removed, that she has received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.”  A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.   “Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley;  Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

The 7 Blessings
1. Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the Universe, who has created all things for Your glory.
2. Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the Universe, Creator of Man.
3. Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the Universe, who has made man in His own image, after His likeness, and out of His very self, so all men forever shall be formed in the same likeness, Blessed are You, O L-rd, Creator of Man.
4. May Zion, so long without children or joy, now become glad and joyful with children living in the Land, Blessed are You, O L-rd, Who make Zion joyful through her children.
5. Let these loving friends rejoice deeply as You made joyful Your creation in the Garden of Eden in former times, Blessed are You, O L-rd, Who causes the Bridegroom and Bride to rejoice.
6. Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the Universe, who created joy and gladness, Bridegroom and Bride, mirth and glee, peeasure and delight, love, brotherhood, peace and good fellowship.  May it soon, O L-rd our G-d, be heard in the cities of Judah and in the Streets of Jerusalem, the voice of joy and gladness, the voice of the Bridegrooms from their canopies and the young men from their feasts of song, Blessed are You, Who makes the Bridegroom joyful with the Bride.
7. Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the Universe, Creator of the Fruit of the Vine.

Israel 2011 Trip - Planning Meeting

Friends of Beit Yeshua and Highway to Zion met on Friday, January 21, 2011, 7PM, at Doug & Lynda's home as Cathy, of Highway to Zion, discussed the 2011 Israel Immersion & Sukkot Tour.  It's the understanding of everyone who attended the meeting that the October 2011 trip to Israel is not a "vacation", but instead is part of our prophetic destiny to go us to Jerusalem to bless the Lord.

Beit Yeshua has numerous larger meetings as we celebrate the Biblical festivals, join with other Messianic & Jewish-Roots groups, and celebrated our annual Evening Honoring Israel, but we so gratefully appreciate our smaller home-group setting, too.  This year Beit Yeshua will celebrate our 10-year anniversary.

On Friday, February 11, 2011, we met for Erev Shabbat at Doug & Lynda's home in Lincolnton, NC.

Israeli Folk Dance at Highway to Zion

Curtis taught a two-session Israeli Folk Dance class with Highway to Zion on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, and Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Cramer Mt. Country Club in Cramerton, NC.  The more we learn, the more opportunities we have for offering up praise & worship to the Lord.  We're excited about the doors the Lord is opening between Highway to Zion and Beit Yeshua.

Erev Shabbat with Beit Eder

Beit Yeshua will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary in August of this year.  We've grown tremendously as the years have passed but we're still pleased to have the monthly home group meetings.  Beit Yeshua  meets for Erev Shabbat (Friday night) twice a month.  Beit Eder was formed to add an additional meeting during the coarse of the month.  The group meets at Wane & Carolee's home is is similar to that of Beit Yeshua.

Indira Ministers at Beit Yeshua

Beit Yeshua is a Charismatic Jewish-Roots group - believing in all the Gifts of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).  Indira Persad was invited to minister at Beit Yeshua during Erev Shabbat on Friday, February 25, 2011, at Chuck & Janice's home in Lincolnton, NC.  We've know Indira for years - meeting her years ago when she worked with Vision For Israel in Charlotte.  As the years passed, a deep friendship was formed.  Indira is gifted and ministered in the areas of healing and the prophetic.

Janice lights Shabbat candles and Paul says the blessings over the bread & wine

Indira gave her testimony about accepting Yeshua as her Messiah
then started ministering in the area of healing and the prophetic.
(Below) Indira & Edgar Persad

It was encouraging as Indira moved around the room and ministered to all in attendance -
some with prayer - some with annointing other - all in the prophetic.

Indira gave a prophetic word over Beit Yeshua that went as follows:

"You guys teamed up with Beit Shofarot and Highway to Zion and all these things, but that's just one little egg in the whole basket, so to speak.  God is giving you guys a garden to cultivate.  He's given you jewels that are still in the pit of your belly awaiting to come up.  People are crying out and praying and God has shown them you guys in visions and dreams.  They've seen your faces - they jus don't know where you are.  The day will come when they will say 'I know you from somewhere.  I saw you somewhere' and they'll remember it was in a dream.  It's yours.

Indira with Lynda, Janice, Doug, Chuck & Carolyn at the 2009 Vision For Israel Conference

At the 2010 Evening Honoring Israel
Indira shares an encouraging prophetic word with the leadership of Beit Yeshua

Prophetic Word Given by Indira to Beit Yeshua
at the End of the Evening Honoring Israel on 30 Apr 2010

She saw oil poured over Beit Yeshua leadership's head and feet.
There were flames of fire around their feet.  Don't despair.

She saw auditoriums and stadiums, state to state and country to country.
Connections to the body of Christ and Jewish Roots.

She saw a belt buckle with four corners - which are connectors.
Electricity going through the connections like lightning.  This is the Lord's voice.

Beit Yeshua connecting people to people.
Get our paperwork in order because it will happen quickly.
The body is hungry and we will have what she needs.
Give the word to everyone.

Curtis get ready to duplicate yourself and oversee.

Israeli Folk Dance Class

The Covenant-based Israeli Folk Dance class continued to grow in 2011.  It's wonderful when people come together to learn Israeli Folk Dance in order to increase the depth of their worship before the Lord.

In March, J, Natalia & Stacy joined us for the first time

We continued to work on a great Israeli Folk Dance performance piece, "Ashreinu", for our Evening Honoring Israel that is coming up on May 6th.

Curtis directs the group through the various transitions of the dance

Ted Pearce Concert at Beit Shofarot

Beit Yeshua joined with Beit Shofarot on Saturday, March 5, 2011, as they welcomed Messianic singer Ted Pearce.

Ted is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who has been a worship leader since coming to faith while driving south on a stormy Dallas night in January 1990.  He has a testimony of salvation by grace through faith with a sound that borrows heavily from artists like Joel Chernoff & Lamb, Paul Wilbur & Israel's Hope, Kol Simcha, Marty Goetz, Karen Davis, Jonathan Settel, Barry & Batya Segal, Liberated Wailing Wall and others who began creating a unique song of Jewish praise to Yeshua in America during the 1970s.

Rabbi Yossi introduces Ted

Ted shares his testimony about coming to Yeshua as Messiah ...

... and sang many of the songs he's written and recorded over the years

"Hallelu Et Adonai", "Zealous Over Zion" and "Awake O Zion"
were among the almost 20 songs he sang

Add some Israeli Folk Dance to the praise & worship and everything was AWESOME
