Pesach/Passover 2003 |
|
 |
|
Pesach/Passover is
one of the seven festivals of the Lord mentioned in Leviticus
23. It is the first of the Spring festivals, occurring in
March or April each year. In scripture, this date would be
Nissan 14.
Pesach is the festival that brings to remembrance the
deliverance of the Children of Israel from their slavery in
Egypt. |
|
The 2003 Pesach Seder was our largest one to date. We met
at Doug & Lynda Williams' home and had about 35 in attendance. |

FACT: When
you do a "covered-dish" meal for Pesach with a large number of
non-Jews,
you get numerous foods that aren't kosher of Passover -
including biscuits and fried chicken |
 |
|
Those who knew the Pesach Kosher restrictions only ate certain
foods |
 |
|
The group learned more about Pesach Kosher foods over the next
few years |
